2023 Detroit Grand Prix IndyCar Live Online

The 2023 Detroit Grand Prix is an Indycar Series race that will take place from 02-04 June 2023 at a temporary circuit at Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan. Currently, it is named the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear Corporation because of sponsorship reasons. This June, the event includes NTT Indycar Series, Chevrolet Dual in the Detroit doubleheader race, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and Indy Lights Presented by the Cooper Tire series. Collectively, this event is referred to as the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix hosted by Lear.

The 2019 competition marked the 30th Grand Prix in Detroit's history. In 2020 the race was not held because of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The first Detroit Grand Prix was held in 1982 and began as a Formula 1 race through the streets of downtown Detroit before becoming a CART-approved race in 1989. The race was relocated to Belle Isle in 1992 and continued until 2001 under the CART/Championship car banner.
