MotoGP announces the 20-race calendar 2021 with three extra tracks, Portugal, Indonesia, and Russia that will be held in reserve in case of cancellations.
The Season will start in Qatar on 28 March and then move for a double-header to Argentina and United States on 11 April and 18 April 2021. On 2nd May European leg will begin in Spain and then will be held in Finland on 11 July. Due to the need to resurface the track, the post-summer rest race, which is traditionally held in Brno in early August, has yet to be confirmed.
MotoGP will move to Silverstone on August 28, the European Leg will conclude with the Aragon and Misano race on 12 Sept and 19 Sept respectively. The two pacific double-header racing events will happen on 3rd October in Japan and next week in Thailand on 10 October. The Australian and Malaysian rounds will take place on 24 Oct and 31st Oct, and then a season-finale race will take place on 14 November in Valencia.
It is a provisional MotoGP schedule as Covid-19 restrictions may still exist in three locations Algarve International Circuit, Portugal; Mandalika International Street Circuit, Indonesia and Igora Driver Circuit, Russia all are on the reserved schedule.
